Dear Newman Family,

My name is Camille Moet, and it is with great excitement and gratitude that I introduce myself as the new Assistant Principal of Newman Elementary School. I am truly honored to join this wonderful school community and look forward to getting to know each of you.

 

To begin this exciting new journey together, I’d like to share a little about myself. I am the proud parent of four children and one beloved canine family member. All of my children have attended schools within CVUSD, with my oldest three having already graduated. My youngest daughter currently attends high school in the district and I proudly cheer her on as a dedicated cheer mom.

For more than 19 years, I have been part of the CVUSD family in a variety of roles—as a parent, volunteer, substitute teacher, and elementary teacher. Each of these experiences has shaped my educational philosophy and prepared me to serve this community with compassion, understanding, and a commitment to collaboration. I believe that strong relationships are the foundation of a thriving school, and I value the unique perspectives of students, families, staff, and community members.

Beyond education, I am a creative person who enjoys baking, candy making, the performing arts, dance, and all things crafty. I love finding creative solutions to challenges and firmly believe that, with imagination and perseverance, anything is possible.

Education has always been my passion. I believe in the power of lifelong learning and that every child deserves a school experience that is engaging, meaningful, and rich with opportunities to grow. I am excited to partner with our talented staff, supportive families, and incredible students as we build upon the strong foundation already established at Newman Elementary. Together, we will continue fostering a school culture where every student feels safe, welcomed, valued, and empowered to succeed.

As we begin this school year, I encourage everyone to embrace a growth mindset—to be brave enough to try new things, kind enough to support one another, and curious enough to AMPLIFY learning every day.

Mi nombre es Camille Moet y, con gran entusiasmo y gratitud, me presento como la nueva subdirectora de la Escuela Primaria Newman. Es un verdadero honor integrarme a esta maravillosa comunidad escolar, y espero con entusiasmo tener la oportunidad de conocerlos a todos.

Para comenzar juntos esta emocionante nueva etapa, me gustaría compartir un poco sobre mí. Soy la orgullosa madre de cuatro hijos y también contamos con un querido integrante canino en nuestra familia. Todos mis hijos han asistido a escuelas de CVUSD, y mis tres hijos mayores ya se han graduado. Mi hija menor actualmente asiste a una preparatoria del distrito, y me enorgullece apoyarla como una dedicada mamá de porrista.

Durante más de 19 años, he formado parte de la familia de CVUSD en distintas funciones: como madre de familia, voluntaria, maestra suplente y maestra de primaria. Cada una de estas experiencias ha contribuido a formar mi filosofía educativa y me ha preparado para servir a esta comunidad con compasión, comprensión y un firme compromiso con la colaboración. Creo que las relaciones sólidas son la base de una escuela próspera, y valoro las perspectivas únicas de nuestros estudiantes, familias, personal y miembros de la comunidad.

Además de mi pasión por la educación, soy una persona creativa que disfruta de la repostería, la elaboración de dulces, las artes escénicas, el baile y todo tipo de manualidades. Me encanta encontrar soluciones creativas a los desafíos y creo firmemente que, con imaginación y perseverancia, todo es posible.

La educación siempre ha sido mi pasión. Creo en el poder del aprendizaje continuo y en que cada niño merece una experiencia escolar motivadora, significativa y llena de oportunidades para crecer. Me entusiasma colaborar con nuestro talentoso personal, nuestras familias comprometidas y nuestros increíbles estudiantes mientras seguimos construyendo sobre la sólida base ya establecida en la Escuela Primaria Newman. Juntos, continuaremos fomentando una cultura escolar en la que cada estudiante se sienta seguro, bienvenido, valorado y con las herramientas necesarias para alcanzar el éxito.

Al comenzar este año escolar, animo a todos a adoptar una mentalidad de crecimiento: a ser lo suficientemente valientes para intentar cosas nuevas, lo suficientemente amables para apoyarnos unos a otros y lo suficientemente curiosos para AMPLIFICAR el aprendizaje cada día.

Estoy muy entusiasmada por conocerlos y espero que compartamos un año maravilloso.
